LCES of Buffalo is Live

The Lutheran Church Extension Society of Buffalo has continuously assisted member congregations in their mission to bring members of the community closer to the Lord and to one another for over 100 years. Established in 1891, the Society has made available to member churches several avenues to accomplish the goal of sharing God’s Word by providing a framework for procuring funds dedicated to this purpose.

As an organization, it was identified that a potential barrier to fellow Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches from joining the Society was the lack of information available for potential member congregations about the Society’s initiatives and operation. To remedy this, the executive board commissioned a website to be built aimed at alleviating that exact impediment. By establishing a web presence, we hope to reduce the issue of access that has limited the community involvement to this point.

The launch of the Lutheran Church Extension Society of Buffalo website marks a new era of accessibility and engagement. This platform will serve as a central hub for information about member congregation eligibility, financial assistance programs and requirements, as well as learn about upcoming events.

The website will also serve as a powerful tool for raising awareness about the impact the Society’s programs and Member Churches have had on the community, potentially inspiring others to join in its mission to make a difference and further extend the message of Love through God’s Word to those who need it most.
